Since Resin takes details and intricacy incredibly well and is highly durable, it is the best material for figurine collectibles.
Resin has a beautiful texture, making your figurines aesthetically pleasing. It is eco-friendly and cannot be melted or reused, so there is no damage from fire. It is also not subject to yellowing over time, so your figurines look newly made.
Other suitable figurine materials include PVC. Although cheaper than resin, PVC is more sensitive, damageable, and has low heat and pressure resistance.
Porcelain figurines can also look great in detail, but they are highly damageable. If you have children at home, they might break one every other hour!
Wood figurines are great so far as durability and naturality are concerned. But when you need the intricacy and detailing, no!
How to safely store your figurine collectibles?
There are two ways to store your collectible figurines safely:
1) Bubble Wraps: You could wrap your figurines in bubble wrap and tape their ends from unfolding. It is advisable not to wrap several figures in the same wrap but one at a time. Then store it in a safe place that you aren’t visiting often. Make sure it is away from sunlight and heat (and children!)
2) Plastic Containers: Plastic containers can also be a great way to store your figurines if the container doesn’t shake every now and then. No transportation, please! You could store a few in there and keep them in a corner no one visits!
